Overview

Located on a busy London high street, Specsavers Peckham experiences extremely high foot traffic in a confined space. As a result, their commercial carpets endure heavy wear. With deep soiling, drink spills, and chewing gum buildup, this was one of our more challenging projects. Since the shop operates seven days a week, scheduling the cleaning without disrupting daily operations was essential.

Our Approach

To tackle this, we deployed a team of technicians for a restoration clean immediately after the shop closed. We had three key priorities:

• Ensuring carpets were fully dry and ready for business the next morning.
• Protecting expensive optical equipment from water damage.
• Completing the job efficiently so the store manager could finish on time.

The cleaning covered the main shop area, treatment rooms, client waiting areas, and a large flight of stairs. Since the carpets were heavily soiled, we needed a method that was both fast and effective.

For this reason, we used our low-moisture deep carpet cleaning system, which allowed us to:

• Speed up drying times, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Completely remove stains and gum, restoring the carpet’s original appearance.
• Eliminate any risk of water damage to electrical equipment.

The Result

We are especially proud of this project. Thanks to our efficient approach, the carpets were restored to a like-new condition with zero disruption to business operations. Not only did this ensure a smooth handover for staff, but it also saved thousands in potential carpet replacement costs.
